We started going to Road America twenty years ago. Today we bring twenty to thirty people along to enjoy the vintage races and the hospitality of Elkhart Lake — it's become a family tradition as much as a hobby.
The collecting bug bit when a 1961 Porsche 356 Carrera B GT came home with us — sadly sold since, but never forgotten. Racing followed roughly fifteen years ago, behind the wheel of a Turner 950 Sport, and we're hoping our son will soon join us on track in the NSU TT currently under restoration.
Right now the shop is deep in the restoration of an Eagle Mk.5 once owned by James Garner — one more chapter in a collection built car by car, race by race.
